Hurricane Harvey has created great destruction in Texas, where many people and animals have been forced out of their homes.
Many people had to leave their homes with just the clothes on their backs, making basic supplies like soap, clean water and food a luxury.
Below are some ways that you can help support the victims. Many of these people have lost everything and they are very grateful for dry clothes and a meal.
Pet Friendly Evacuation Shelters
If you are in a situation where you have to leave your home to evacuate, please take your pets with you. If it is not safe for you to stay, it is not safe for them to stay.
Many shelters and motels today will accommodate you and your pets, especially in an emergency situation.
SPCA of Texas
